Lucinda White loves the uniqueness of each student. Her greatest satisfaction is seeing them stand taller and smile bigger as they gain confidence in their abilities.
Lucinda has over 30 years of experience as a teacher and educational leader and holds MN teaching licenses in both Reading K-12 and Special Education K-12. After several years teaching Early Childhood Education, English to Speakers of Other Languages, and Special Education, it was clear that the common denominator across these fields was literacy. Following that passion, Lucinda earned her Master of Education degree in Reading from Boston College and became a Reading Specialist. She has taught in both public and private schools, at all age levels. In addition to her work with students, Lucinda coaches fellow educators, leads professional development workshops in the Science of Reading and Dyslexia. Read Lucinda's resume here.
Lucinda knows that at the heart of students' success is the excellence of their tutors. As the Director of Reading Rays, she is thrilled to lead a "dream team" of skilled, caring , and dedicated tutors.
Lucinda's favorite way to spend her free time is walking or hiking, preferrably somewhere that required a plane flight.

Carolyn Roegner is a master of building confidence, celebrating progress, and creating a safe space where students feel encouraged and capable.
Carolyn earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education from Northern Illinois University. She taught in K-6 classrooms for 13 years, and during that time discovered that her own son was dyslexic. As a Wilson tutor, Carolyn draws upon her classroom experience to provide clear, step-by-step instruction tailored to each child’s unique needs. She believes that, with the right support, every child can learn to read. Carolyn counts it a privilege to partner with families, support their children’s growth, and watch struggling readers grow into confident learners.
Carolyn cherishes time with her husband and children and especially enjoys cheering them on at their sporting events. Whenever she has a quiet moment, you’ll find her happily immersed in a book on her Kindle.
